| The Filipino Health & Education Foundation (Canada) ("FHEF") is a Greater Toronto Area based non-profit organization, federally incorporated on July 31st, 2001.

The FHEF was built based on the Filipino tradition of "Bayanihan", which stands for camaraderie, kinship and voluntarism working for the common good of the community. All of the FHEF's assets are derived from volunteer-organized fundraising activities and events held throughout the year.

FHEF's constitutional objectives are as follows:
- To assist in providing for the medical and educational needs of Filipino families both in Canada and in the Philippines;
- To establish scholarship programs to deserving Filipino-descent students, both in Canada and in the Philippines;
- To establish a foreign exchange program for deserving Filipinos;
- To operate a Canadian resource center that will extend assistance to new immigrants; and
- To provide assistance by way of establishing projects for needy families in the Philippines.

The FHEF is an independent organization governed by a Board of Directors (elected annually) and Officers (elected every two years). All volunteer members raise funds, manage assets and decide which programs and activities are to be supported. FHEF programs and activities are approved by the Board of Directors and are reviewed throughout the year. FHEF is always open to consider special causes and projects that supports its objectives.

FHEF's existence is maintained by the gifts and generous donations of our patrons who become members, continually support our programs and attend our fundraising activities.
It costs approximately $60 - $70 CAD to financially support a child's elementary education, and approximately $375 CAD to support a high school student for a full academic year in the Philippines. Your membership can mean a world of difference to a child who can only dream of going to school. Please consider becoming a FHEF member.

Membership is not restricted or limited to Filipinos
| For an annual membership of $10 per individual or $20 per family, you can help support a very worthy cause.
As a member you will receive the following incentives:

- Donation receipt for membership dues and all other donations
